Equity Financing

In most cases, Island Film Group can provide equity financing for film and television projects produced in Hawaii. By utilizing the various Hawaii tax credits, Island Film Group can provide between 20% and 40% of a project's budget.

Production Tax Credit Financing

The state of Hawaii provides a refundable production tax credit equal to 15%-20% of qualified production costs for productions that spend a minimum of $200k in Hawaii. Island Film Group assists productions in maximizing the production tax credit benefit and can also cash-flow the production tax credit, allowing productions to include the amount in their financing plans.
