Ricardo Galindez oversees physical production and is regarded as an expert in tax credit structuring and financing for film and television projects in Hawaii. He is a member of the Producers Guild of America and currently serves on the boards of the Hawaii International Film Festival and the Film and Video Association of Hawaii. Prior to co-founding Island Film Group he was a partner at Goodsill, Anderson, Quinn & Stifel, one of Hawaii's oldest and largest law firms.
Roy Tjioe is the lead creative producer and guides projects from script to screen, taking an active role in developing stories based on Hawaii's rich history. He has placed in national screenwriting competitions, acted in local stage and indie film productions and worked as a professional storyboard artist. He has spoken at various film related forums and is a member of the Producers Guild of America. Prior to co-founding Island Film Group, he was a partner at Goodsill, Anderson, Quinn & Stifel, where he headed the Entertainment Law Group.
Krista Carella is our in-house commercial producer/Head of Production and has worked in commercial production for ten years in Los Angeles and Honolulu, most recently as the Broadcast Producer at Anthology Marketing Group, Hawaii's largest marketing firm. Her production resume spans eight countries and seventeen states.
Michelle Pitel is our in-house coordinator and a recent graduate of the University of Hawaii.
Jessica Jou is a seasoned television producer and talent manager who has produced numerous concert and commercial events in Asia. As the Executive Director of Kingdom Films, she produced the television series “Yong Zhen Kingdom” which ran for thirty years, secured foreign financing for film and television projects, and negotiated overseas licensing deals with the major studios. Earlier in her career, she introduced IMAX and Showscan (including simulation attractions, edutainment and multimedia related projects) to the Greater China market.
Together with David Young, she serves as an Executive Director of the Asia Pacific Region for Island Film Group.
David Young is a well-known recording artist, actor and television program producer. He has recorded two platinum records in Taiwan and starred in “The Greatest Emperor of Han Wu”, the popular prime time television series for China Central TV and TVB in Hong Kong. He also acted in and produced the popular educational sitcom “In The Office” for Shanghai Media Group.
Together with Jessica Jou, he serves as an Executive Director of the Asia Pacific Region for Island Film Group.
